This year’s Bachelorette is lined with romantic dates, tough decisions and dramatic scenes. In the program we get to follow 28-year-olds Sonja Livboms search for the great love.
Edvin Törnblomwho in this year’s edition premieres as a presenter, has previously promised an exciting season filled with love and drama – and we can certainly agree with that.

In tonight’s episode, no usual rose ceremony is on the agenda because Sonja feels she needs more time with the boys – one by one. Therefore, it is time for a rose mingling, where Sonja will hand out roses during the mingling. This evening, it is not the boys’ task to get time with Sonja, but the initiatives will be taken by her.
The evening brings drama and surprises. The first bomb that is dropped is when a new guy takes over the house and steals Sonja away Emil Johansson30, from Stockholm.
– I don’t think it’s a guy for Sonja, says an irritated Emil, who needs to hand over the date to the new guy.

For those who are true reality lovers, the new guy may feel familiar. Namely, his name is Sandor Berg and participated in Sweden’s first, and so far only, season of Fboy Island, a program led by the influencer Klara “Tanbyklara” Elvgren.
The second bombshell of the evening comes when a guy voluntarily chooses to leave, but not for any reason – he chooses to leave for another girl, back home in Sweden.

When it’s time for Sonja to talk to Joel Planås, 29, during the rose mingling, she asks how he feels at the moment. Before the rose mingle, however, he said that he felt nervous, but that he felt that he would have to elbow his way forward to be able to talk to Sonja.
– That’s what I thought I’d bring up a bit here now. I’ve been a bit withdrawn as you may have noticed, not taking to myself much, that’s not really who I am. But there is a girl in Sweden that I have thought about quite a lot since I came here, says Joel.

He goes on to state that it probably feels like a shock to hear, but that he has to follow his heart. It’s something that feels good to Joel, he explains, but that he understands that it comes as a shock.

In the most reasonable way, Sonja reacts with great surprise at the reason Joel chooses to leave. She says that it feels upsetting to hear that he has another woman at home in Sweden, when he himself chose to go to Mexico to date Sonja.
– If I’m going to be damn crass when you say this, I first of all feel very disappointed, that you come here when you have another girl somewhere else. Because it feels like you’re taking a place from someone else who doesn’t actually have a girlfriend, she says.
Did Farmen-Viktor just happen to reveal that he will be on the Bachelorette?
In his defense, Joel ends by saying that he doesn’t have a girl at home, but that it’s a girl he’s known for years. They have “clicked a bit before” and now he wants to give the relationship an honest chance. He simply made the wrong decision to go to Mexico.
– I wrote to her that “I have left, I want to meet you”. Right now we are together, Joel also reveals in tonight’s episode of “The guys reveal everything”.
