It was on December 30 that the new season of “The stars in the castle” finally premiered on SVT.

Included in this year’s edition of the program is the chef Marcus Samuelssonthe presenter Mark Levengoodthe former skier Pernilla Wiberg as well as the artists Sanna Nielsen and Caroline of Ugglas.

And the stars in question spent a full six days together to film the series.

“The arrival is recorded on day one together with a vignette and press photos are taken. After that, the stars each have a recording day that starts with breakfast, followed by activity, lunch and then dinner. In between there is some time for recovery,” the production writes to News24.

So far, hypnosis, dance and wakeboarding have been on the schedule for the stars, and when lunch and dinner have been served, everything from scallops to entrecôte has been offered.

But how do you actually arrive at which activities should be carried out and which dishes should be on the menu? This is what the production says:

“The stars have a conversation with the chef Frida Ronge before the recording and desire food that in one way or another means something to them or that they enjoy. Then Frida refines or interprets the wishes of the stars.”

“The stars also have conversations with the producer regarding which activity they want on their day and based on the conditions to carry out the activity and based on the star’s interest, it is decided what the respective activity will be.”
