The lucky winner is none other than Chris Evans, the iconic interpreter of Captain America. If his election as “Sexiest Man Alive” delighted millions of fans around the world, it is especially his mother who is the most proud of it. “Mom will be so happy! She’s proud of everything I do, but now she’s really going to be able to brag“said, not without humor, the 41-year-old actor in an interview with People.

Actors George Clooney and Johnny Depp have received the award twice, and Richard Gere and Cindy Crawford have won it as a couple. The first to be elected “Sexiest Man Alive” is Mel Gibson, 37 years ago now.
