The hockey NHL finals start early on Wednesday morning Finnish time. The Tampa Bay Lightning and Colorado Avalanche are battling for the Stanley Cup.
Tampa Bay, who won the Eastern Conference, is hunting for his third consecutive championship. Most recently, the same club has won three consecutive championships in the 1980s. At the time, the New York Islanders raised the pitcher as many as four in a row in 1980-83.
Colorado is represented by Finnish strikers Mikko Rantanen and Artturi Lehkonen. Avalanche last played in the finals 21 years ago, when it also celebrated the championship.
All Stanley Cup finals will be broadcast live on Areena and TV2. The championship is decided by four wins.
