Possibility 2: Wait until Paramount+ starts in Germany

Discovery has long been part of the Netflix catalogue, but the series was not produced for Netflix and is owned by Paramount. Because the studio has its own streaming service, Paramount+, the deal with Netflix hasn’t been renewed.

Paramount+ starts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland but only in December 2022. That said, the wait is far from over for Star Trek fans.

Paramount+ will be available as a free app for Sky Q to all Sky Cinema subscribers.

The streaming service will also be available independently of Sky. Then it will cost 7.99 euros per month and will be available via an app for iOS and Android as well as supported connected TV devices.

When is Star Trek: Discovery season 5 coming?

Episode 13 is the season finale of Star Trek: Discovery, but there’s good news. Season 5 of the science fiction series is already in the works. early 2023 the new episodes could start if all goes according to plan.
