Armand Duplantis is hotness at the moment. He can’t be beat and is getting closer and closer to another world record. He met his expectations at the Diamond League in Paris where he once again went on to win. Duplantis won when he sailed over the crossbar that was 20 feet to strike Sam Kendricks season’s best of 5.95 meters.

According to Etusuora then there is a predetermined prize pool for the athletes who emerge victorious from each discipline. The money Duplantis brings with him from Paris is 10,000 dollars, i.e. approximately 104,000 Swedish kronor. Should Duplantis emerge victorious from the entire Diamond League, he will win $30,000.

Armand Duplantis recently received an award as “Swedish of the year”. It was together with the star swimmer Sarah Sjöström that he received the award, which is awarded by the non-profit organization Swedes in the world.
