When is the event running? The Fusion Raid Day with Necrozma starts on December 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. It then runs for three hours and ends at 5:00 p.m.

What’s in the raids? You will encounter the two Necrozma variants in raids:
These are the versions of Necrozma that bonded with either Solgaleo or Lunala.
Important: After the raid, you won’t catch the fusion form, but the regular form of Necrozma. However, you will receive the fusion energy for the respective variant that you fought.
About the merger: You can then use the energy to fuse your Necrozma with a Solgaleo or Lunala. For each of the fusions you need 1,000 corresponding energies, 30 Necrozma candies and 30 Cosmog candies. You also need Solgaleo or Lunala already in the collection. They evolve from Cosmog.

What defines Necrozma Duskmane and Morningwing?
Both Pokémon are among the best attackers in Pokémon GO. They also offer special adventure effects.
Necrozma Duskmane brings Steel Star: You can activate this attack outside of combat by using 3,000 Stardust and 3 Necrozma Candies. Pokémon that otherwise only appear during the day are then attracted for 10 minutes. You can also carry out developments that only work during the day. But use the best counterattacks at a high level. It gets easier if you compete in the raids with more trainers. For example, you can use the Campfire app or try joining raids via the friends list. But for this you need Fernraid passes, which are not available for free at the event.
