Heres how to have a house without small animals

Sometimes the simplest methods are the most effective to avoid having insects at home!

Some cooking ingredients can do miracles in the fight against pests of the house. But it is not always easy to find your way among all these grandmother tips. Cockroaches, food mites, ants, mosquitoes, flies … A single kitchen ingredient will be effective against all these little animals, especially if it is associated with toothpaste.

This ingredient is cinnamon. If it delights our taste buds in sweet recipes, its smell scares out many insects. You can then use it to create a simple and inexpensive homemade repellant that acts instantly. To prepare for this effective repellent, you will only need three easily available ingredients: cinnamon, mint toothpaste and toilet paper.

Why does the toothpaste and cinnamon mix work? Cinnamon and mint have powerful aromas that cockroaches, mosquitoes, ants, flies and other insects do not support. Thanks to this simple tip, you can easily make an effective natural repellent at home without having to invest in expensive chemicals, harmful to your health.

Here’s how to do it. Start by preparing your mixture. Mix a teaspoon of cinnamon powder with a small amount of toothpaste until you get a homogeneous paste. If the mixture is too dry, add more toothpaste. Then take a piece of toilet paper and fold it in two layers. Apply the cinnamon dough on the toilet paper, then roll it in a fine roll. Let dry.

After drying, place the rolled paper in a container, a small cup for example, and light its end, as if you are lighting incense. The aroma freed from cinnamon and mint will effectively repel the insects of your home.

If this method is one of the most effective, you can also use cinnamon other ways to push pests. For example, you can sprinkle cinnamon powder around the entrance points for small animals. This method works well to avoid attracting ants and cockroaches. You can also replace cinnamon powder with a few drops of cinnamon essential oil on cottons that you will hide in the 4 corners of the house.

To combat food mites, stick cinnamon is often placed in cupboards or food boxes to keep them away, because they don’t like its smell. In summer, to keep mosquitoes away, dilute a few drops of cinnamon essential oil with water in a spray and spray the preparation in your accommodation.
