Stockholms Vildfågel Rehab is a non-profit association with volunteer workers who help everything from eagles to city pigeons with various illnesses and injuries. The birds are allowed to come there for treatment until they recover.
Victor Persson drove an animal ambulance himself and then noticed how many animals do not get any help.
– These birds have no insurance or anyone else who can help them, he says.
– It is sometimes very difficult emotionally to work with this.
