Anders Nylund is a familiar face to many TV4 viewers. For many years he was one of the channel’s popular meteorologists who provided the Swedish people with weather forecasts on a continuous basis. When Nyhetsmorgon moves out and broadcasts from Gävle due to the tribute match for Börje Salmning, Nylund appears and comments on the floods that hit Gävle in August 2021.
During the years that Anders presented the weather on TV4, he had his own little gimmick: At the end of each forecast, he threw up his “clicker” and caught it again. Today he had to content himself with throwing a clementine – and pulling a small anecdote from his upbringing in Gävle.
— One Saturday they had to move the square trade from Saturday to Friday and then they went out in the newspaper and announced that: “This week it’s Thursday on Friday instead of Saturday”. Then it was a setter who fooled around and changed the letter gi in the word torgdag to an s, so it became Thursday, says Anders Nylund.
