When the bus was about to drive through the bodies of water that had formed in connection with Wednesday’s downpour over Jönköping, it got stuck in the meter-high water.
The rescue half an hour later took place with one of the emergency services’ ladders from the electric bus.
On the bus sat Melker Stark, 16, and Mattias Lager, 15, who had a plan to not get their gym shoes wet in the water-filled bus.
– We are thinking about climbing onto the roof.
They ended up getting their shoes wet anyway.
