It was yesterday morning that a masked person entered a goldsmith’s shop in Ljusdal and stole items.
– We were just about to have morning coffee when the door rang. I thought it was a customer but then this person came in. He shot me a quick glance, then he was fully focused. Then I turned around, thought about our safety and about raising the alarm, says store owner Sandra Eskilsson.
She describes the perpetrator as threatening and aggressive. After the incident, she is more alert.
– You are shaken and a little scared. Jumps when you see something or something.
The thief’s stolen goods
How much the perpetrator managed to get away with is not yet clear.
– Much of what is in the store is sign material and dummies. So he got a lot with him, but not as much as you think. Neither are the items submitted by customers for repair.
As no threat was made and no one was injured during the break-in, the incident is classified as aggravated theft according to the police.
