As Yasaman Sharifmanesh traveled the hour-long journey from Qashmili to Hasakah in northern Syria, three Turkish drones suddenly exploded on the road.
“They will meet us. Go, go”, is heard in a video filmed from inside the car she was traveling in.
– They attacked a wheat silo and oil wells, she later tells SVT Nyheter.
The Turkish attacks with airplanes and drones have been going on in northern Syria since Sunday. The offensive comes after a terrorist attack in Istanbul on November 13, which the Turkish government blames on Kurdish groups.
Yasaman Sharifmanesh testifies to a difficult existence in the area.
– They also attack civilians and civilian cars, she says.
