52-year-old Mats Sundin is Toronto’s top scorer of all time (420). On Friday evening, the legend surprised the team in Stockholm when he took a seat in the dressing room before the meeting with Detroit.
– He is a real legend. It gave a lot of energy. I had no idea that he would appear, says Calle Järnkrok about the appearance.
Even William Nylander was surprised.
– It was special when he came in. It was a surprise.
Toronto won 3–2 after a performance by Nylander.
