The salary differs
As the cost of living varies depending on where in the EU you live and work, it differs considerably from what the average salary is. According to a new calculation from Eurostat, which Danish Dagens has reproduced, it appears that the average annual full-time adjusted salary per employee differs significantly between the fifteen countries on the list.
Today’s reports that Eurostat’s calculation is based on the average annual gross salary for full-time employees and the figures are for the full year 2023.

That’s how high the salary was in Sweden
The country where the annual salary is considered to be the lowest is Cyprus, where the average annual gross salary in 2023 was 26,430 euros, which corresponds to just over 300,000 Swedish kronor in annual salary.
The average annual salary in Sweden was 44,619 euros, corresponding to more than 512,000 kroner.

Here, the annual salary is over SEK 930,000
The very highest paid full-time employees in Luxembourg. There, the annual gross salary was a whopping 81,064 euros, which in Swedish kronor corresponds to a breathtaking 930,000 kroner.
