A Russian propaganda channel has published a video of them shooting with a Swedish weapon. The video shows how the man fires an 86 armor shot – and is knocked to the ground. – Damn it, says the man. In an attempt to discredit NATO forces and their weapons, a Russian propaganda channel has published the video clip on social media. Judging by the viewers’ comments, however, the clip is printed with the opposite effect. In the clip, the Russian man claims that he loaded the Swedish rocket launcher with ammunition adapted for another weapon. Rein Pella, captain in the Swedish Armed Forces, has watched the clips and reacts to the man’s poor weapon handling. – He holds the weapon in a completely incorrect way. He doesn’t use the shoulder rest or the handle, there are educational stickers on the weapon showing how to use it, but he hasn’t even looked at it, says Rein Pella. The man throws the weapon over his shoulder and takes aim at an armored car. But he makes a serious mistake. Instead of grasping the handle, the man only holds the cylinder-shaped rifle. Thrown into the hill: “Damn it” As soon as the shot is fired, he is knocked in the head. The recoil is so strong that the weapon hits him in the face and he is thrown to the ground. – Damn it, the man is heard saying. When the man got up from the ground, he tried to blame his poor weapon handling on the “NATO weapon”. – That is why I say that NATO weapons are crap, he says. According to Rein Pella, armor shot 86 is virtually recoilless. If fired correctly. – It is recoilless, not 100 percent, it moves very little if you use it correctly. But if you hold it the way he does, you can do yourself a lot of harm, he says.
