Here the partial solar eclipse could be seen

During Tuesday, in the middle of the day at 12 o’clock, there was a so-called partial solar eclipse in Sweden, i.e. when the moon gets in the way of the sun.

But the conditions for seeing today’s eclipse were not the best. The clouds obscured most of the phenomenon in several parts of the country. Despite that, there were those who waited for the sun to come out so that the phenomenon could be seen. TV4 Nyheterna visited the Tycho Brahe Observatory outside Malmö where enthusiasts had gathered.

And suddenly at lunchtime it burst open and the partially obscured sun peeked out, to the delight of many.

– It looks like a fat smiley. It’s great, said Ann Sidbrant, one of those who managed to see the eclipse.
