Here, the most snow-mixed rain will occur this weekend – 30 millimeters is expected

Throughout southern Sweden, yellow warnings are issued on Saturday from SMHI – this applies to the strong wind which is expected to reach as much as 25 meters per second. For those who live around Lake Vänern, this can mean delays in public transport, reduced accessibility due to fallen trees and temporary structures that are at risk of collapsing.

In addition to the gusts of wind that are expected to subside during the day, there will also be rain mixed with snow in several parts of the country.

Up to 30 millimeters of rain mixed with snow

News24 has spoken with SMHI who announces that Skåne is the region that will be worst affected on Saturday 21 October. There, it can rain up to 30 millimeters in the afternoon.

– There could be possible slipping problems, says the on-duty meterologist at SMHI.

In Stockholm, the precipitation is estimated to be approximately 5 millimeters during Saturday.
