But after the clip, which spread like wildfire on social media, no one can slam down on their attitude.

Expectations have really been zero in the UK during the World Cup. The journey has not been easy, and the British have in many ways seen themselves properly defeated.

In seven matches, Great Britain has collected a paltry point, and is toxic in Tre Kronor’s group. But in the last match against Latvia, they were actually close to taking their first three-pointer during the tournament.

After two periods played, Great Britain was in the lead with 2-0 and went towards a historic victory. But when everything was to be decided in the last period, the British completely collapsed, and eventually cod with a full 5-3.

But the first two periods no one can take away from them, and maybe they found the energy from the assistant team captain’s fire speech before the match.

The TV cameras capture when Jonathan Philipps tries to tag his teammates before the match, and there are really no nice words that hail from his mouth.

It’s swearing after swearing, in a typical British manner. And maybe that’s the way Britain needs to tag themselves ahead of every match to have a chance to grab points during the World Cup?
