Three people were shot in the Stockholm area late last night. Two were shot in Solna and one in Jordbro – a person has now been arrested for the latter shooting.
– We have extensive footage that has been reviewed during the night, says Ola Österling at the Stockholm Police
An 18-year-old man was arrested this morning by prosecutors after the shooting in Jordbro, south of Stockholm, last Friday evening.
The alarm came to the police at 10pm on Friday evening, where a man in his early 20s had been shot. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Ola Österling, press spokesperson for the police, does not want to comment on whether the men are already known to the police.
We are in the process of mapping the plaintiffs and above all the perpetrator and in what context they have met before. We will not make public what we have found at the moment, he says.
During the night, the police began a preliminary investigation regarding attempted murder.
The technicians have completed the crime scene investigation and there we have secured traces and technical evidence. There is an extensive amount of footage that has been brought in and is now being reviewed by our camera monitoring centre.
