Initially, a large area was cordoned off at Skälby. Several residential buildings, a school and streets fell within the cordons. Shortly after seven o’clock on Friday morning, the hand grenade detonated.
– The grenade was found in the residential area, but we cannot comment exactly where, says Magnus Jansson Klarin, press spokesperson at the police.
During Friday, a technical survey will be carried out on the site, after which the barriers can be removed completely. At the moment, traffic or accommodation is not affected.
