When the brown bear cub was found in a forest in northwest Turkey, it was drunk and confused.
It turned out that it had been eating “crazy honey” – a hallucinogenic honey made by bees that have eaten nectar from rhododendron bushes, which contains a type of neurotoxin.
The bear was taken to a veterinarian who says that, under the circumstances, it is doing well and will probably be released into the forest within the next few days.
