Around the world, countries are now working with creative solutions to keep electricity consumption and costs down. – Normally, our supermarket would have much more lighting than now. But since we are trying to save electricity, we have reduced electricity consumption by about 20 to 30 percent. The lighting has been turned down a bit, says Oohinata Kouko, head of business planning at a grocery store in Japan.
