The Malta flagged cargo ship Vezhen left Russia on January 24. Just over two days later, it is seized outside Karlskrona and is suspected to be involved in rough sabotage of an underwater cable.
The Bulgarian shipping company behind the ship believes that it is an accident.
Pictures from the site show how an anchor is injured. SVT has examined and verified pictures taken on December 15, 2024 where the anchor is intact. The damage must therefore have happened later than that.
