The initiative is initiated by the housing company Botkyrkabyggen. The idea is that children aged 12–17 will contribute to a better Fittja.
– In the long run, it is like a small school where we shape them to learn about democracy and to like. They have not been allowed to comment before, says Alvaro Fuentes at Botkyrkabyggen.
The initiative is part of the housing company’s work to increase security in the area and as part of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
– If this bears fruit, we will apply it in our other districts, says Alvaro Fuentes.
