When German Chancellor Olaf Scholz posed for the cameras with ordinary people in Berlin, two of them suddenly tore off their shirts.
The two women had written “Gas embargo now!” on their bare torsos They shouted the same slogan as they were led away by security guards.
Scholz has been criticized for Germany continuing to import gas from Russia, despite the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
