The number of dead in the bridge accident in the state of Gujarat in India has now risen to 132, reports the Times of India.
The search and rescue work has been going on during the night, when several bodies have been pulled out of the water.
It was the cables of the 100-year-old bridge that snapped on Sunday when about 500 people participating in a religious celebration were on the bridge. The dead are said to be mainly women, the elderly and teenagers.
