Then the players were attacked by stormed Espanyol supporters – and were forced to flee into the dressing room.

Barcelona secured the club’s 27th La Liga title when they overcame city rivals Espanyol 4-2 away from home on Sunday.
When the Barça players celebrated the title indoors after the final whistle, scandalous scenes unfolded at the Estadi Cornellà-El Prat.
Espanyol fans then entered the pitch and attacked the Barcelona players, who fled off the pitch and into the dressing room while being protected by police who were seen with raised batons on the pitch. Together with security personnel at the arena, the situation was quickly brought under control.
