If it is possible to quickly transport a 76 meter long wind turbine blade via truck? No. The residents of Kisa noticed this yesterday when a truck loaded with exactly one wind turbine blade crept through the city’s streets.
The transport that attracted many eyes is the first of 33 that will pass through Kisa on its way to a wind farm near Tjällmo in Motala municipality.
The wind farm should be ready in spring 2023 and be able to deliver 72.6 MW via Vattenfall’s regional grid by summer.
