Several people ran onto the field at half-time in the Allsvenskan match between Djurgården and Norrköping. In the television broadcast, several people were seen being wrestled to the ground by security guards.
– Oh, now drama is happening behind here, there are several running in. It’s full security now, says Jonas Dahlqvist, reporter, Discovery.
Flag brawl
Dahlqvist announced later in the broadcast that the storming must have been caused by a flag theft between the supporter groups.
– There were two from one side who snatched a flag from the other section, there was a chase after that. The security personnel were quickly on the scene and took care of this, he says.
The commotion did not affect the Allsvenskan match, which could be played as planned.
