North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un reportedly showed off a previously unknown daughter during the country’s latest robot test.
Kim Jong-Un was reportedly accompanied by his wife and daughter when he participated in the test of one of North Korea’s new long-range robots on Friday, the country’s state news agency KCNA reported on Saturday.
In pictures, Kim Jong-Un can be seen holding hands with a young girl wearing a white jacket and red shoes. It is the first time KCNA has mentioned the daughter or published a picture of her. However, nothing was said about her name or age. Most of Kim Jong-Un’s private life is shrouded in obscurity.
But South Korean media have reported that he married Ri, a former singer, in 2009 and that the couple reportedly have three children born in 2010, 2013 and 2017. It is not known which of the children Kim brought to the robot test.
