Here, Michael is already kissed on the group date

In “Farmer Seeks Wife” it’s time for a group date, and for the ostrich farmer Michael, it’s going to be intimate, something that’s not the norm this early in the season. It is kissed twice! First up is Mariette, who plucks up the courage to ask Michael about that kiss.

– You have to try it out, feel what the kiss is like! It’s an important part actually. In a kiss, you can sense if there is that chemistry between two people, if it’s right, it’s just wonderful, says Mariette now to TV4.

But she only found out when she saw the episode that she wasn’t alone in sharing an intimate moment with the farmer.

– I hadn’t asked anyone and I hadn’t told anyone either. That is personal, I think. I understood well that others wanted to try and take advantage too, she continues.

Kari: “It was probably quite mutual”

Next up was Kari.

– We sat and talked and that’s how it happened. I don’t really know who initiated it, but it was probably quite mutual, says Kari about the moment with Michael.

According to her, there was a supportive atmosphere in the group.

– I mean I encouraged Mariette to take that step, and she encouraged me too. It’s a matter of dealing with it, she says.

Even Michael now tells how his thoughts went during the group date.

– Perhaps they had prepared for it to be a kiss, but it turned out quickly. I was a little surprised. But an innocent kiss is a friendly gesture, and it’s important to take the time. You don’t have many minutes to get to know each other. You should have time to feel and see if there is any attraction and warmth in between, says Michael.

But he was not prepared for it to happen so quickly.

– I wasn’t prepared for that, but before that I also couldn’t imagine that everything was so forced. Shouldn’t be any problem to talk and get to know each other, I thought, but it was fast pucks. It’s important to take advantage of every second and ask questions you want answered, he says.

– Everyone agrees on the premises, which is that I am the one who will find the love I want for the rest of my life. After all, all the girls on the group date are aware that I have to find the one I’m best suited with. An innocent kiss is nothing strange in the first stage like this, he says.
