In the final of this year’s “The Farm” there are two revenge-seeking participants who have been in the program before. It is Levin Larsson and Cornelia Nordensson who fight to win half a million kroner and the title of farmer of the year – when in the end it is Levin who takes it home.
– The feeling there and then was completely indescribable. When Anna shouts that I won… I don’t really remember, it’s like I’m walking into a fog. I felt euphoria, shock and happiness. It is among the funnest and best things that have ever happened to me, says Levin.
Both Levin and Cornelia started this year’s season at Torpet.
– The other participants were probably not so happy though, we spoiled their season. It was also so sick when you got to the final, and there were people sitting there who I had never met, who had left the Farm before I entered. It was a bit special, Levin continues.
“My goal was to go further than I did last time”
Immediately after the win, Levin calls his mother to tell her.
– She is the one who supported and believed in me the most. It was definitely her that I want to call first, then she would have been damn pissed off if I called someone else, he laughs.
When he agreed to participate in the Farm once more, he hardly dared to hope for a win.
– My goal was to get further than I did last time and to be part of what I didn’t get to be part of last time. I left so early that I didn’t get to be part of the whole experience. I missed slaughter, festive rewards from Wincent, visits from home, he says.
And he succeeded in that, to say the least. However, his experience meant many more days on the farm compared to the other participants.
– It is much more challenging to be on the pitch, it is something completely different for the psyche. Had I not been there once before, I think it would have been really tough to be there as long as I was, says Levin.
That’s what Levin will do with the winnings
With the winnings, he will buy his parents’ farm, and right now he is dealing with everything that needs to be fixed before selling the house he lives in now.
– It will be exactly the way I want it. A house with attached barn, workshop, several hectares of land. There is space for animal husbandry and all that stuff which I think is fun. It’s a dream come true, says Levin.
On the farm, there will be endless projects, something that suits his restless soul perfectly, he says.
– The first thing I will do is order a new kitchen, he says.
