Harris and Biden’s security ratings are withdrawn • “Compilation of enemies”
It was during Friday night that the decision came from the US president. Donald Trump chooses to revoke the security permission for multiple political opponents, reports The New York Times.
The decision applies, among other things, former President Joe Biden and his family, Trump’s opponents in the election Kamala Harris and more key people in the Biden administration. The decision means that the persons affected no longer have access to security -classified security information.
Biden did the same thing against Trump
According to Trump, there is no reason for these people to have access to such type of information anymore. But it is not a unique feature of the US president. After the storming of capitol in January 2021, Joe Biden did the same – against Donald Trump.
Other people who are also closed out are former national security adviser Jake Sullivan, former Foreign Minister Antony Blinken and former Foreign Minister and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Trump’s order also means that his political opponents must now be escorted around when visiting federal authorities.
Letitia James and Alvin L. Bragg have pushed legal cases against Donald Trump – both the two are also covered by the decision. Former congressman Liz Cheney is also included in the list, which of The New York Times is seen as “a compilation of enemies”.
