The financial statements are far from over and Nintendo has just made public the sales generated between April and June 2002, with the latest figures, both hardware and games sold. With more than 111 million Switches sold, Nintendo is therefore confident and confirms its popularity with players and homes around the world. On the turnover side, Nintendo reveals that its quarterly turnover reached 2.2 billion euros, which allows the Kyoto firm to end the fiscal year at 11.8 billion dollars. On the software side, it’s also edifying with a Top 10 made up of titles that have sold between 15 and 50 million copies, enough to give vertigo to any other manufacturer who gargles as soon as the threshold of 10 million of sales is crossed. Looking more closely at this ranking, we can see that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe takes the lead, with 46.82 million copies, while the last, Ring Fit Adventure, leaves with 14.54 million copies sold. It’s simple, each Nintendo first-party title reaches incredible scores, as can be seen in the following list, knowing that all of these titles immediately become long-sellers, i.e. games that sell in the duration.
– Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: 46.82 million
– Animal Crossing New Horizons: 39.38 million
– Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: 28.82 million
– The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: 27.14 million
– Pokémon Sword / Pokémon Shield: 24.50 million
– Super Mario Odyssey: 23.93 million
– Super Mario Party: 18.06 million
– Pokémon Sparkling Diamond / Pokémon Sparkling Pearl: 14.79 million
– Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu! / Pokémon: Let’s Go Eevee! : 14.66 million
– Ring Fit Adventure: 14.54 million
That’s not all, because Nintendo completes this billboard with three other games, released very recently and which already counts big scores. Enough to reinforce the idea that each game exclusive to the Switch is an immediate success.
Nintendo Switch Sports: 4.84 million
Kirby and the Forgotten Land: 4.53 million
Mario Strikers: Battle League: 1.91 million
