Here is a very simple, economical, but above all very effective grandmother’s technique to stop the smoke coming from your barbecue in an instant. Take a handful of coarse salt and throw it on the coals. The smoke will dissipate in the blink of an eye. As soon as the smoke reappears, renew your gesture. The advantages of this trick are numerous:

  • One does not inconvenience the neighborhood with the smoke;
