Here is the NHL profile for the worst pronunciation of the Swedish city – Henke hardly believes it’s true: “No! No!”

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

An NHL studio talked about Swede Pontus Holmberg.
Then Henrik Lundqvist could only laugh at profiler Paul Bissonnette’s Swedish pronunciation.

Henrik Lundqvist is one of the best goaltenders ever in the modern NHL era. He was the face of the New York Rangers for 15 years, and has always been one of the most popular players in hockey. Lundqvist is simply impossible to dislike, and it was not that surprising that he would work in television after his career.

Success in television

Lundqvist has been successful as an expert in North America since the announcement that he is ending his career. He works primarily with broadcasts from the Madison Square Garden network, but sometimes also jumps into TNT’s studio. And there are a lot of well-known names.

Wayne Gretzky himself sometimes sits on the TV channel’s panel, and regular guests are the former player and now well-known profile Paul Bissonnette, and also the Sweden killer Anson Carter. The former great player Rick Tocchet has also been a recurring panel member, but since he is now the head coach of the Vancouver Canucks, Lundqvist jumped into the studio on Wednesday evening, local time, and then there was an immediate laughter fest.

Horrible pronunciation

The studio discussed Toronto player Pontus Holmberg, and Paul Bissonnette would then give a small summary of his career so far. Holmberg was a success with the Växjö Lakers in the SHL a few years ago, and when Bissonnette was going to explain this, it went seriously wrong. Växjö is not the easiest word to pronounce if you are not Swedish, and Bissonnette got to experience that. He failed miserably, which made Henrik Lundqvist laugh out loud.

The studio members mocked Bissonnette, saying he wasn’t even close with his pronunciation, and Lundqvist could only laugh at the misery. In the same broadcast, Lundqvist and Bissonnette also put on a show, when the duo performed a song to pay tribute to Rick Tocchet, who thus left the studio to train, among others, Elias Pettersson in the Canucks.
