The semi-finals will start on Friday in Tampere with the first meeting between Tappara and KooKoo. Ilves and TPS will open their own series on Saturday.

The semi-finals of the Finnish Ice Hockey League will start on Friday, when Tappara and KooKoo hit each other for the first time. The people of Kouvola played an intense series of seven matches against the Jukuri, and the team only gets one day off. Tappara gets into the series at rest, as the fifth match against Lukko was played on Sunday.
There is enough noise in the Tampere Arena in the semi-finals, as Ilves also has a home advantage in the TPS series starting on Saturday. Up to eight matches will be played in the hall over the next 11 days if both series are extended to seven matches.
The finals will be won by four wins, and the matches can be followed on Puhe’s Hockey Tour.
