For example, Stockholm is the region with the highest average salary: SEK 44,600 a month. Central Norrland has the lowest average salary: 36,700, something News24 Previously rewritten.
The median income in Sweden amounted to SEK 342,780 in 2023. This also differs between Sweden’s different regions, and at the municipal level the differences are even greater.
According to figures from Statistics Sweden, which the Economicsjen Finansvalp.se has taken part in is the municipality in Sweden with the highest median income Danderyd in Stockholm County.
There is the middle income of all income of SEK 483,210 a year.
Here are the 25 municipalities with the highest median income in Sweden, taken from Finansvalp’s analysis. The figures relate to the median income for each municipality in 2023.
On the other side of the spectrum we find Högsby in Kalmar County. It is the municipality in Sweden that has the lowest median income: SEK 268,254.
This is a total of SEK 214,956 lower than in Danderyd.
