The top three teams in each group advance to the second group game (main round) which consists of four groups – and the two best teams in the main round then advance to the quarter finals.
The quarter-finals and semi-finals are played in Stockholm and Gdansk, while the final and other placement matches are played in Stockholm.
Footnote: The African World Cup qualifier has not yet been decided (to be decided this summer), so therefore the five countries that qualify from that qualifier are named “Africa” followed by a number after.
