Here Idol-Cimberly sings in Finnish – Grandma from Haparanda

Cimberly’s grandparents lived in Haparanda, where her grandmother always spoke Finnish to her.

– She understood what I said in Swedish, and I understood what she said in Finnish, but I wish I knew Finnish, but unfortunately I never learned that, says Idol finalist Cimberly.

The father is from Kenya and the mother is Finnish. Cimberly’s Finnish citizenship was given to her by her mother at birth.

– So if I were to do the rag, I would do it in Finland, I have understood, laughs Cimberly.

Do you know if you have any Swedish-Finnish fans?

– I hope I have some Swedish-Finnish fans out there, but I don’t know, at least I have my family, who cheer me on.

Cimberly meets Saga in the Idol final

Cimberly Wanyonyi, who grew up in Skellefteå, will face Saga Ludvigsson from Örby, Mark’s municipality in tonight’s Idol final.

It is not the first time that the idol final is represented by blue and white colors. In 2006, Tornedalen Markus Fagervall won Idol, Fagervall’s mother is from Finland.
