The worst of the snow chaos had subsided on Wednesday morning, but slippage with the resulting drifts caused long queues on several roads in western Sweden.
Those who were lucky enough to get stuck in a traffic queue on route 26 outside Goran Todorovic’s house outside Tidaholm at least had the chance to get a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
– I think everyone should help each other. You never know, next time it might be you who gets stuck, he says.
