New Year’s Eve is a tough and traumatic day for many dogs. A company in Nacka municipality picks up dogs that have to get away from the banging and takes them to a safe place.
– Many dogs get very scared, says the owner of the company, Elin Wiestål.
A total of sixteen dogs can be accommodated at the company’s boarding house, where it must be completely blast-free and where dogs afraid of bullets must feel safe.
– Once the dog panics, the best thing you can give it is to remove it from the sound, says Melinda Samuelsson, dog behaviorist at the company.
