Here are the ways to sharpen grades

For a high school diploma from a university preparatory program is needed

– 2,500 points, of which 2,250 must be approved (minimum E)

– passed in Swedish or Swedish as a second language 1, 2 and 3, English 5 and 6 and mathematics 1 as well as

– an approved high school project

A degree from a university preparatory program provides basic eligibility for university studies.

A high school diploma from a vocational program is required

– 2,500 points, of which 2,250 must be approved

– passed in Swedish or Swedish as a second language 1, English 5 and mathematics 1

– passed in 400 points of the subjects common to the program (for example construction and construction on the construction program)

– an approved high school project.

A vocational exam with a passing grade (minimum E) also in Swedish/Swedish as a second language 2 and 3 and in English 6 provides basic eligibility for university studies. These courses are included in all vocational programs.

Many higher education programs also require special qualifications, i.e. passing grades in an additional number of courses.
