Here are the traces that show how life developed after the dinosaurs

Never before have so many complete plant and animal fossils from that time been identified as in the Corral Bluffs rock desert in Colorado, USA.

Corral Bluff’s cliffs are made up of different layers. One layer is from the time of the asteroid impact and the layers above it are from time periods afterwards. Fossil finds in the layers therefore provide information about plant and animal life during different time periods during one million years after the asteroid impact.

– Previously, nobody really knew what happened after the dinosaurs disappeared, says Tyler Lyson, paleontologist.
