Three actors are reportedly trying out for the Superman costume in upcoming DC Comics films. Find out their names.
Is the next face of Superman already known? James Gunn, new boss of DC studios, is currently looking for the actor who will play Clark Kent in his next film, Superman: Legacy. And if many hope to see Henry Cavill in the role, this hypothesis has already been ruled out by Gunn. But according to information from the American media Deadline, there are other very serious candidates for the role.
According to a source close to the studios, three actors are in the shortlist and have passed face-to-face trials. Nicholas Hoult, 33-year-old British actor seen in the series Skins, The Great and in the movies Mad Max: Fury Road The menu And Tolkien is one of them. A choice that seems consistent on paper, since the ex of Jenifer Lawrence has already embodied the Fauve in the last series of films X-Men.
But Hoult isn’t the only one vying to play the most powerful man on the planet. Actors David Corenswet and Tom Brittney will also try out to play Clark Kent, according to Deadline. The first, an American comedian, has played in several series, including Hollywood And The Politician signed Ryan Murphy. The universe of superheroes would therefore be brand new for him, but he certainly has the physique to embody Clark Kent.
