Here are the things most people steal from their hotel room

Summer is coming to an end and most people have returned from vacation. Regardless of whether you have been abroad or stayed in Sweden, you may have stayed in a hotel. And you may have packed something extra in your bag when check-out approaches.

The hotel and travel search site Momondo has conducted a survey that shows what Swedish travelers steal the most. At the top are shampoo or toiletries – not entirely shocking.

But in second place comes a more unexpected thing – namely the television set. According to the survey, Generation Z appears to be more likely to take a TV with them from the hotel room.

Women steal more than men

For example, nine percent of the surveyed Swedish travelers aged 18-24 admit that they have taken a television set with them. Seven percent have taken a pillow and six percent have stolen a painting.

If you compare with travelers over 45, only one percent have packed the same things in their suitcase. Travelers over 25 tend to stick to packing things like shampoo and conditioner.

The survey also reveals that more women (64 percent) than men (51 percent) have taken something with them from the hotel room.
