Here are the recommendations for the updated vaccine

Some people are considered to have a greater risk of being affected by severe covid-19 and therefore vaccination is recommended. Here are the risk groups according to the Public Health Agency:

• Pregnant women of any age after the 12th week of pregnancy.

• Adults over 18 with any of the following:

• Chronic cardiovascular disease including stroke and high blood pressure.

• Chronic lung disease, such as COPD and severe/unstable asthma.

• Other conditions that lead to impaired lung function or impaired cough force and secretion stagnation, for example extreme obesity, neuromuscular diseases or multiple functional disabilities.

• Chronic liver or kidney failure.

• Diabetes type 1 and 2.

• Impaired immune system due to disease or treatment, including people with Down syndrome.

• People with frailty who need help from home care, as well as people with significantly reduced health due to, for example, psychiatric illness, dementia, harmful alcohol use or drug use.
