Are you hesitating whether or not to consume a product after its expiry date? Here is a small overview of the products that you can still use without danger. Start by differentiating between DLC and DDM first! The DLC corresponds to the expiration date and should not be exceeded as it is found on highly perishable products. When it is written “to be consumed preferably before…”, it is then the date of minimum durability (DDM) and you can then consume the food but its qualities may be altered. Some foods can be kept for months or even years after the date indicated on the package, others up to two months, and some up to three weeks. We will explain everything to you.
