Here are the men’s Superpesis season’s biggest pre-favorites and the most significant transfers – the champion’s ex-steward raised two potential surprises

Here are the mens Superpesis seasons biggest pre favorites and the

Men’s Superpesis really starts. Manse PP, who celebrated the Finnish Championship gold for the first time last autumn, is once again a pre-favorite.

Janne Karinkanta,

Mika Halonen

The men’s Superpesis will actually start on Thursday night, when Joensuu’s Maila will host the Pattijoki Athletes and Sotkamo’s Jymy Imatra’s Pallo-Veikko.

Of course, a couple of teams took the start in April, when Sotkamo defeated Imatra 1-0 in Fuengirola, Spain. In the women’s match played in Fuengirola, Seinäjoki’s Maila-Jussit won Roihuttaret from Helsinki 2–0.

Last season of the men’s Superpesis ended for the first time with the championship of Manse PP from Tampere. Mansen was the game manager Matti Iivarinen. The 57-year-old Iivarinen got to celebrate the Finnish Championship gold for the first time as the game manager. Iivarinen, who was twice chosen as the locker of the year, had won the Finnish Championship gold in Alajärvi Anchors in 1988 and 1989.

Iivarinen ended his career as a game manager for last fall’s championship. Now Manse is leading PP Juhani Lehtimäkiwho piloted Joensuu to become the Master of the Racket 2019.

Matti Iivarinen wondered to Urheil about what kind of setup will start in the men’s Superpesis season 2022.

Pre-favorites

– I agree with many others that Manse feels like the strongest team and is the number one favorite. Last season was a good season. Some kind of foundation was made and I would think it could be built on it. There have been small changes to the team that are refreshing. Juhani Lehtimäki has become the game manager. Good solutions have been made, Iivarinen inches.

The second pre-favorite is Iivarinen, who raises Kouvola’s Beaters, who has been a losing party twice in the final. Iivarinen believes that the final losses have increased hunger in Kouvola.

– It usually goes that way. I think they have handled the final loss the right way and taken the action forward. Acquired from Hyvinkää Patrik Vartama and Teemu Nikkanen are appropriate players for that group.

In addition, Iivarinen raises Joensuu, which has become one of the favorites, and lost to Sotkamo Jymy in the semi-finals last year with a match victory of 2–3. In addition, Iivarinen believes that the enduring successors Vimpeli and Sotkamo will put it in the combs. Last season, Vimpeli defeated Sotkamo in bronze games.

– After all, the solutions often happen so that who gets it in the best condition of their game and then plays their best game in the autumn. Of these five, everyone has the opportunity to do so.

– Previous seasons have shown that almost without exception, a team that has not been beaten to the top will surpass itself. I think there will be one again this year. Tahko and Kempele could be such teams. I have been betting on Kempele for a long time, there has been long-term work there.

Significant transfers

As a young super promise, he has already celebrated the Finnish Championship gold in Vimpel in 2016 and 2017 Perttu Ruuska, 21, moved from Vimpel to Manse, where he can put on the batsman ‘s shirt again. In the last two seasons, Ruuska played in Vimpel as a locksmith. Ruuska replaces Mansen with a joker plot Juha Niemenwho moved to Tahko in Hyvinkää.

– Both are top repatriates, but as I said, a small change is always in place and brings light. Ruuska knows the world of thought of a batting joker and knows how to prepare for it. His performance looked solid in the winter hall games. I think Ruuska will see a big season, and so do many others.

Topi Kososen moving to Joensuu would be a big deal. Ville Väliaho as a second locker, how does it work, do they both play? If they succeed, they will get a lot out of Kosose both outdoors and indoors, Iivarinen thinks.

Kosonen, 40, has been playing in the Pattijoki Athletes since 2004. He was able to celebrate World Championship gold in 2008, when he was also selected as the baseball player of the year. Last season, Kosonen’s career had already been announced, but Joensuu still attracted him to his ranks.

In addition, Iivarinen points out Elmeri Liedon, which moved to Joensuu from Seinäjoki. In the indoor game Lieto, 22, has played as a changer / repeater and in the outdoor game in the focal line.

– A young guy who has already played good seasons in Seinäjoki. I believe that Joensuu will still be able to improve Napsu, Iivarinen says.

In addition, Iivarinen intends to follow the transition from Siilinjärvi to Vimpelin Vedo Teemu Confirm. Kinnunen, 30, played in his breeder’s club in Siilinjärvi Pesis in the main series for the last three seasons.

Baseball player of all time Toni Kohonen will continue his playing career for another season. Kohonen, 45, who represented the Kouvola Beaters last season, plays at Imatra’s Pallo-Veikos. In January, the nesting legend of the ten Finnish championships announced that the season was the last in his career.

Festive season and locksmiths

The Superpesis is celebrating a festive season this season, 100 years since the official competition began. It brings extra color to the season comfortably.

– It’s probably the kind of thing that shows up in a hurry all the time. Meetings are held and the hustle and bustle is more active than usual. Every club organizes more events than before, Iivarinen thinks.

As a former locksmith, Iivarinen follows the development of young locksmiths with special interest during the festive season.

– The gameplay is a bit of a fuss that requires a lot of experience. That development doesn’t happen with a single click. It develops little by little and requires a lot of work, but it’s nice to follow.

Iivarinen cites the 20-year-old Tahko from Hyvinkää as an example of a locker whose development is fascinating to follow. Petteri Alasen and Kirele, 20, of Kempele Aatu Saastamoinen.

Men’s Superpesis 2022 – this is how it is played

Baseball celebrates its 100th anniversary. In the men’s main series, the Finnish Championship medals have been played since 1922 and in the women’s series since 1931.
